The use of cheques is being phased out by the Commonwealth Government, and the Fines Unit will cease issuing cheques from 31 October 2025. All payments will now be made via electronic funds transfer (EFT).If you have been awarded an amount by the court (or have received a previous payment from the Fines Unit) you should ensure your bank account details and email address are up to date with us.
